The body of the second person who drowned in the submerged tunnel in the Sabunchu district of Baku - Abbasov Kocheri Farman, born in 1995, was taken out from under the water by the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and handed over to the relevant authorities, the press service of the Ministry told APA.

Two people drowned as floodwaters filled a tunnel in the Sabunchu district of Baku, Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The body of one of the victims was recovered from the water by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) forces.
Search efforts continue for the other individual believed to have drowned.
Note that heavy rain caused the tunnel to flood, and a car was left submerged in the water. It is reported that the mentioned individuals were in the car that sank.
Efforts to drain the water from the area are still ongoing.
The Ministry also stated that in the flooded tunnel in Sabunchu, MES personnel retrieved the body of Elnur Shirinov Fazil, born in 1976, from underwater and handed it over to the relevant authorities.
