Newspaper: Karabakh president to be arrested in Armenia?

The purpose of the "car show" carried out against him is not only to make him submissive and keep the people of Artsakh [in Armenia] away from the streets, but to fulfill [Azerbaijani president] Aliyev's next demand…
Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in part: It is said in political circles that the President of Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] , Samvel Shahramanyan, may even be arrested in the near future [in Armenia], as the purpose of the "car show" carried out against him is not only to make him submissive and keep the people of Artsakh [in Armenia] away from the streets, but to fulfill [Azerbaijani president] Aliyev's next demand.
On June 21, let's remind, the IC [i.e. the Investigative Committee of Armenia], together with the special [police] forces, had broken the gates of the Artsakh representation [in Armenia] and confiscated Shahramanyan's car. A week ago, he had announced that the people of Artsakh have the right to participate in the [opposition] movement [led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan].
And after the meeting with Reverend Bagrat, the community leaders of [Artsakh’s] Stepanakert, Askeran, Martakert were arrested [in Armenia] on trumped-up charges of forging documents, stealing community property. And Aliyev almost directly had expressed his confidence that the RA authorities will rein in the "revanchists."
