A meeting with journalists was held at the Western Azerbaijan Community on the occasion of National Press Day, APA reports.
In his speech at the meeting, Chairman of the Western Azerbaijan Community Aziz Alakbarli stated that the Azerbaijani press has had an honorable path and highlighted the services of journalists on the information front during the 44-day Patriotic War.
He noted that the press has played an exceptional role in conveying the truths about Garabagh to the world:
"The information war continues today. Conveying the truths about Western Azerbaijan to the world today is also a historical mission. I thank the press workers involved in this work."
At the end, journalists were awarded for their efforts in promoting the truths about Western Azerbaijan, and a commemorative photo was taken.
