Freight transportation grew by 5.8% in January-May in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Freight transportation by all kinds of transport grew in January-May 2024 by 1.1 million tons or 5.8% compared to the same period of the previous year.
19.6 million tons of freights were transported, according to the National Statistical Committee.
In May 2024, transportation of freights by all kinds of transport declined by 0.2 million tons or 4.9% year-over-year. Compared to the previous month, freight transportation has not changed almost.
59% of freights were transported by sole proprietors (physical persons).
