The Western Azerbaijan Community has strongly condemned the position of the United States towards Azerbaijan, Olaylar informs, citing the Community statement.
It was noted that a group of US Congressmen addressed a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken on October 3, 2024, expressing an unacceptable stance against Azerbaijan.
The community notes that the congressmen use Azerbaijanchr("39")s hosting of COP29, the UN Climate Change Conference, to push Armeniachr("39")s agenda, which allegedly aims to create conflict in the region.
The community said in its statement that the congressmenchr("39")s demands, including the release of individuals responsible for war crimes, are a clear blackmail and contradict international law.
The Western Azerbaijan Community has called upon the United States to cease its policy of blackmail and racial discrimination against Azerbaijan. They urge the US to stop attempting to instigate a new conflict in the region and to respect the right of Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia to return to their homes.
