Zelenskyy's office responds to Hungarian PM's ceasefire proposal

Hungary was not the first country to offer Ukraine a ceasefire. But Kyiv has its own plan to achieve peace, according to the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva, APA reports citing RBC Ukraine.

"Hungary is not the first country to talk about a similar scenario. The President of Ukraine listened to his interlocutor, but in response, he stated his position, which is clear, understandable, and known," Zhovkva said.

He reminded that Ukraine wants peace, and there is a tool for this. In particular, the first Peace Summit was held and preparations for the second are underway.

According to Zhovkva, representatives of the Russian Federation may participate in the second Peace Summit if Russia does not issue ultimatums to Ukraine.
