AKIPRESS.COM - The 52nd La Rochelle International Film Festival (Fema) is taking place in France from June 28 to July 7. This year, the festival will pay tribute to the Kyrgyz director Aktan Arym Kubat, coinciding this event with the Days of Cinema of Kyrgyzstan in France, producer Altynai Koichumanova said.
The event will feature films "Selkinchek" (1993), "Beshkempir" (1998), "Maimyl" (2001), "Light of Ake" (2010), "Centaur" (2017) and "Esimde" (2022).
A public meeting of the Kyrgyz film director with the audience will be held on July 4.
