AKIPRESS.COM - Rescuers and members of civic protection commission are eliminating the consequences of mudflows in Abshyr-Ata village of Nookat district, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
The works started on June 29 and continued today.
A mudflow drainage channel is being cleared using an excavator in Kok-Jar rural municipality.
Mudflows killed eight people in Nookat district on June 28. A state of emergency has been introduced in the district. About 1,400 people were evacuated from mudflow sites.
