AKIPRESS.COM - A number of projects aimed at developing tourism potential, infrastructure and agriculture are being implemented in Osh region.
Construction of a pedestrian bridge worth 96,294,365 soms (about $1,099,231) is underway in Uzgen city, the governor's office reported. Work has also begun on the reconstruction of the stadium. A plot of land has been allocated for the construction of a museum for $2 million.
The bridge will be built from December 25, 2023 to June 25, 2025.
Power lines with a total length of 11.2 km were laid in Alay district. More than 30 recreation areas were connected to the power supply. Financing of the work amounted to 13.5 million soms.
The central stadium and Orto-Korgon park, which is located next to the stadium, will be reconstructed in Uzgen city.
The estimated project cost is 141 million soms. Financing will be provided through the World Bank.
