In order to strengthen international solidarity in the global fight against climate change, on December 25, 2023, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, signed a Order declaring 2024 as the "Green World Solidarity Year", APA reports.
Azerpoct LLC implements a number of events and projects to contribute to this activity. One of them is the circulation of standard postage stamps and branded envelopes with the theme "Green World Solidarity Year" in several denominations.
The stamp features elements of alternative energy and recycling, and the stamp itself is made in green, the color symbol of the flora world.
These stamps, which will be used by the post office, as well as the envelopes, are intended for the use of internal and external shipments.
Noted that it is planned to continue such projects throughout the year.
