Armenian police surround government premise, special forces were involved in area-VIDEO

Supporters of the "Tavush for the Motherland" movement started gathering in front of the government building in Yerevan, APA reports citing Armenian media.

Noted that the police surrounded the building and special forces were involved in the area.

Roads leading to Government House are closed.

Emphasized that a government meeting is currently being held, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is speaking.

Recall that the protests in Armenia started on April 19, after an agreement was reached between Baku and Yerevan on the border delimitation and demarcation process. Bagrat Galstanyan, head of the Tavush Diocese, who led the protests, called on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to resign.
