Azerbaijani Energy MinisterParviz Shahbazov noted that operational data for January-April of this year reveals that electricity generation totaled 9,248.6 million kWh. During this period, exports stood at 407 million kWh, with imports totaling 62.2 million kWh, Azernews reports.
The minister further noted that electricity production from thermal power plants (TPPs) reached 8,198 million kWh, while renewable sources, including hydropower, contributed 1,050.5 million kWh, marking a rise of 464.5 million kWh compared to the same period last year.
