Azerbaijan consistently supported China's territorial integrity and its "One China" policy, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said as he received a delegation led by Shen Yueyue, Vice-Chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairperson of Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation Commission of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, APA reports.
In a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan reiterated this support and condemned the elections held in Taiwan.
The head of state also highlighted the prevalence of trends supporting separatism and policies based on double standards globally.
