The Ministry of Defence of Armenia commented on the circulated reports of the Chief of the General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces Edvard Asryan being Russian citizen, APA reports.
According to the information, the Defence Ministry denied the reports of Edvard Asryan being Russian citizen.
According to the information of the Ministry, it was noted that because Edvard Asryan’s wife is Russian by nationality, he has dual citizenship.
The ministry said that Edvard Asryan's children as well have both Russian and Armenian citizenships.
