Malta's current chairmanship of the organization coincides with a rather complex period in the OSCE space, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with the OSCE Chair-in-Office, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade of Malta Ian Borg, APA reports.
"The lack of trust and mutual cooperation among certain member states, and non-observance of fundamental principles is an example of this. Azerbaijan advocates for the adherence to the basic principles of the OSCE and respects the sovereignty of nations", the minister added.
The head of the MFA pointed out that he informed the OSCE Chair about the normalization process with Armenia.
