Moscow hosts memorial night dedicated to 101st anniversary of Heydar Aliyev's birth -PHOTO

A memorial night dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, was held in Moscow, Russia, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

The event that was held with joint organization of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Russia and the Russian representative office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, was attended by members of the State Duma, ambassadors and military attachés of foreign states, well-known public figures of Russia, activists of the Azerbaijani Youth Union of Russia (AMOR) and well-known representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora.

At the event, First Deputy General Director of TASS Information Agency, Honored Journalist of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Gusman’s "Ilham Aliyev. And: 20 years later" documentary film was screened. The night continued with a concert program.
