Slovakia is ready to act as bridge between Azerbaijan, Europe - Prime Minister

"We are ready to be a bridge between Azerbaijan and Europe," the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Robert Fico, made this statement to the press after a expanded meeting with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.

Robert Fco said that the situation in Azerbaijan should be illuminated as objectively as possible.

He noted that the turnover of goods between Azerbaijan and Slovakia is low. Robert Fico said that there is no obstacle to increasing this turnover:

"The trade turnover is slightly more than 70 million euros. We need to expand our cooperation. If there is a strong President and a strong Prime Minister, we can successfully implement several projects."
