Slovakia is interested in buying Azerbaijani gas and exporting it to Ukraine, PM says

Slovakia is interested in buying Azerbaijani gas and exporting it to Ukraine, the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Robert Fico, made this statement to the press after an expanded meeting with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.

Robert Fico said that small military airfield and energy projects are interesting for Slovakia: “The import of gas from Azerbaijan is also interesting for everyone due to the war in Ukraine. We will hope for fair prices. I am sure that we will create a positive atmosphere at the European level as well. We can not only buy gas but also import gas to Ukraine through Slovakia. This can be beneficial for both Slovakia and Ukraine. This can be a very good project."
