Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan received a delegation led by Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Armenia.
The minister emphasized the high level of Armenia’s cooperation with the EU in the context of ensuring democratic reforms and rule of law in the country, the Ministry of Justice of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Also, Minasyan reflected on the deepening of Armenia’s cooperation with the EU Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (Eurojust), and stressed the importance of signing the draft working agreement ensuring the implementation of the Eurojust agreement.
In turn, Ambassador Maragos spoke about the visa liberalization dialogue, and the two parties recorded the planned actions in this regard.
During the meeting, the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement implementation process, the EU budget support to Armenia, as well as the work on the development of the online "e-justice" single system in the country were also discussed.
Also, Grigor Minasyan and Vassilis Maragos reached an agreement to continue their joint work in the context of the reform of the justice sector in Armenia.
