Risk Management Officer

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide suggestions for the selection and application of methods and models for identifying, assessing, and managing risks that may arise on the way to achieving strategic goals, and participate in decision-making;
• Provide suggestions for managing, minimizing, and preventing operational and market risks, and participate in measures taken in this direction;
• Prepare necessary reports in the process of managing operational and market risks, collect data on key risk indicators, and conduct analyses;
• Identify potential risks for newly developed products and services and provide suggestions;
• Evaluate business processes conducted in structural units, conduct monitoring to optimize risks, and provide suggestions;
• Create a risk map and a Risk Appetite Statement, and implement a continuous control process;
• Conduct awareness-raising activities in structural units to enhance the risk culture within the company;
• Fulfill obligations and activities arising from the charter of the structural unit within the scope of authority;
• Monitor compliance with the company's Risk Management policy;
• Identify risk factors arising during work processes in a timely manner and take necessary steps;
• Strictly adhere to the company's internal rules, processes, policies, and instructions, and be responsible for any violations;
• Immediately report any accidents, incidents, and dangerous situations to the direct supervisor;
• Achieve semi-annual and annual targets set by the company and accepted by the employee. 

Education Requirement: 

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management or Economics is desirable

Work experience requirements: 

• At least 1 year of experience in Financial Risk management, Treasury or Internal Audit

Language Skills: 

• Knowledge of English is desirable

Knowledge and skills:

• Licenses / Certifications: FRM, CFA is desirable
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, MS Visio (or alternatives)
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills

Senior Compliance Officer

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensuring the activities of the Baku Stock Exchange comply with regulatory requirements and overseeing this process;
• Establishing and organizing the monitoring process for compliance with the requirements of regulatory requirements;
• Setting up monitoring for compliance of processes, internal rules, and supervisory body requirements;
• Submitting periodic reports on identified incidents and measures taken to eliminate them, and overseeing this process;
• Organizing communication of compliance-related issues to the employees of the Baku Stock Exchange;
• Conducting monitoring to ensure the adequacy and functionality of measures related to findings identified and resolved during supervisory inspections;
• Organizing detailed analysis of regulatory changes and ensuring their implementation at the Baku Stock Exchange;
• Ensuring that regulatory requirements are not violated during the automation of existing processes at the Baku Stock Exchange;
• Identifying risk factors arising during work processes and implementing appropriate action plans;
• Monitoring the execution of the strategy.

Education Requirement: 

• A bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics is desirable.

Work experience requirements: 

• At least 3 years of experience in Compliance, Internal Control, Operational Risks, or Internal Audit is desirable.

Language Skills: 

• Knowledge of English is desirable.

Knowledge and skills:

• Licenses / Certifications: CAMS, CGEIT, BPMN 2.0 are desirable
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, MS Visio (or alternatives)
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills
