The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia issued a statement in response to media inquiries that a meeting between the representatives of Armenia and Turkey is planned for Tuesday at Margara border checkpoint.

Earlier, Armenian News-NEWS.am reported, citing its diplomatic sources, that a meeting between the special representatives of Armenia and Turkey will be held Tuesday.
On June 11, Ruben Rubinyan—deputy speaker of the Armenian parliament and special representative of Armenia in the process of normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations—had announced that "an official meeting has not taken place for a long time, but we have an agreement that a new meeting will take place between the representatives of Armenia and Turkey; we do not have an agreement on the date and place yet."
The Margara Bridge on the Armenian-Turkish border has already been renovated and is ready, Rubinyan had added.
The special representative of Turkey in the aforesaid process is Serdar Kilic, who was the Ambassador of Turkey to the US for seven years and the Secretary General of the National Security Council of Turkey.
