Four children from Kazakhstan among mudflow victims in Nookat district

AKIPRESS.COM - The bodies of two more children from Kazakhstan, who died as a result of a mudflow in Nookat district of Kyrgyzstan, have been found, Vlast.kz reports, citing Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
"With the assistance of local authorities, documents are prepared and the necessary procedures are carried out. Kazakh diplomats provide assistance to the relatives of the victims," the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The bodies of all four dead children will be delivered to their homeland by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
The day before the deaths of two children from Kazakhstan were reported, two others were considered missing.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan, a total of nine people were killed as a result of the mudflow in Nookat district, and hundreds of people were evacuated.
