AKIPRESS.COM - About 1,400 people have been evacuated from the Abshyr-Ata resort in Nookat district of Osh region today, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
21 people were evacuated by helicopter on two flights. Among them are the elderly and ill people.
"After walking a difficult road for about 8-10 hours, 12 rescuers and about 40 locals evacuated about 150 people from the Jany-Nookat rural municipality. The mudflows blocked the road there," the message says.
