AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration Akylbek Japarov received a business delegation from the United States. The visit is organized through the U.S.-Kyrgyz Business Council, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.
The parties discussed measures to enhance cooperation between the businesses of Kyrgyzstan and the United States, focusing on the spheres of interbank relations, investment cooperation, digitalization and energy.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers told the delegation about the investment opportunities in Kyrgyzstan and the policy to create a favorable environment for business in the country.
Akylbek Japarov invited the U.S. business delegation to explore the trade and investment potential of Kyrgyzstan, and foster cooperation with the business community of the country.
In turn, representatives of the U.S. delegation and members of the U.S.-Kyrgyz Business Council expressed interest in expanding business ties between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Abbott, Coca-Cola, GE Vernova Inc., OpenWay, Thomas Greg & Sons Limited, VISA, White & Case, Jones Equity Fund.
