Rescuers evacuate people from Abshyr-Ata mountains

AKIPRESS.COM - Rescuers are evacuating people who were on the other side of the river in the Abshyr-Ata mountains, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
180 people had been evacuated as of 11:50 am. 130 rescuers, 20 units of engineering equipment, and 120 locals helped in the rescue work.
Deputy Ministers of Emergency Situations Akylbek Mazaripov and Edelbek Kulmatov went to the scene.
Mudflows descended in Nookat district on the evening of June 28.
