Tax revenues from gold mining companies to state budget increase by 39% in five months

AKIPRESS.COM - Tax revenues from gold mining companies to the state budget increased by 39% in January-May 2024, according to the Ministry of Finance.
In total, 5.6 billion soms were received in five months. The volume of payments for this tax amounted to 4 billion soms in January-May 2023.
The share of tax on income of gold mining companies amounted to 4.2% in the total tax revenue.
These figures do not include tax on Kumtor's gross income and the annual payment for the development of the mineral resource base of the Kyrgyz Republic from Kumtor.
