AKIPRESS.COM - Mudflows occurred in Abshyr-Ata village of Nookat district in Osh region after heavy rains on June 28, locals told Turmush.
The streams washed away 2 bridges, courtyards and sheds of 10 houses, 10-15 utility poles.
A girl aged 7-8 years was carried away in Abshyr-Ata village by the mudflows. She died. This information was confirmed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The Ministry is checking information about two more minors aged 13 and 15 years who may also have been carried away.
Mudflows carried away a 10-year-old resident of Eski village in Nooken district of Jalal-Abad region on June 17. The boy died.
