EU needs €500 billion in next 10 years for defense, European Commission chief says.

All things considered and based on public information, the European Union (EU) needs an additional 500 billion euros for defense over the course of the next ten years. Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission of the EU, announced this at the news conference following the EU summit in Brussels.
According to her, this money can be obtained both from the budgets of EU member states and from EU funds.
