Moscow region and Andijan region discuss issues of creating production facilities
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Governor of Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov held a meeting with the head of the Andijan region of Uzbekistan Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation Botirjon Asadov.
During the meeting, issues of creating production facilities in the regions and possible exchange of enterprises were discussed.
“We also discussed a possible exchange of residents: so that companies from Moscow region could work in Uzbekistan, and Uzbek companies could work with us. There are already entrepreneurs ready to take part in the project,” the governor of Moscow region said in his Telegram channel.
He noted that attracting investments and creating comfortable conditions that would help companies open production facilities in Moscow and Andijan regions were discussed.
“Our colleagues have already visited the Dubna SEZ, where they learned about the best practices in Moscow region and the Light Industrial format, which helps businesses start production on fully completed areas. They also met our residents. At the end of May, we visited the production of automotive components and a textile industry enterprise in the Andijan region,” added Vorobiev.
