Armenian-Chinese educational cooperation has great prospects and potential. Chinese ambassador to Armenia Yong Fan said this on Thursday, speaking at the Armenia-China Cultural Dialogue conference, which was held at the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia.
"Armenian-Chinese educational cooperation has great prospects and potential. Last year, [Chinese] President Xi Jinping announced in his speech at the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation Summit that China is taking eight fundamental actions to assist in the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative, among which the implementation of the Luban Workshop project stands out, which implies cooperation in the field of professional educational. China will continue to provide government scholarships within the framework of the Silk Road project and outline the main directions of high-quality development of educational cooperation.
I believe that the Armenian-Chinese educational cooperation will contribute to the strengthening of the friendship of the Armenian and Chinese peoples, and I express my hope that new perspectives of cooperation will be opened to ensure the new development of educational and cultural cooperation and bilateral relations," said the Chinese ambassador to Armenian.
