Yonhap: South Korea counts about 180 balloons filled with garbage sent from the North

South Korean authorities have counted more than 180 balloons filled with garbage, which were launched from North Korea, reports Yonhap News Agency.
This time, 70 of these 180 balloons landed in Seoul and the northern regions of the South Korean capital's Gyeonggi-do suburb. But by 9am local time, there were no more balloons in the air. Experts did not find toxic substances in the garbage.
North Korea released balloons full of garbage for three days in a row. About 350 balloons were sent on Monday, and 250 on Tuesday. Seven such operations have been carried out since May 28.
North Korean authorities have announced that they will respond to the delivery of propaganda leaflets by South Korean activists. The latter had sent to North Korea balloons with such leaflets on June 20. The next day, Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, had announced that the country intends to keep its word.
