Man who said he was in labor slavery in Kazakhstan lied - Interior Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - The man who said he was in labor slavery in Kazakhstan lied, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The video about the man who introduced himself as native of Balykchy city Muskat Esenbaev was earlier published on social networks. According to the author of the video, the man was allegedly deceived into being taken to a neighboring country. He was in slavery there without documents or means of communication. The author also claimed that the man was beaten by his employer.
The police began an investigation and found a relative of the man. He said that his 37-year-old brother I.M., a native of Naryn region, was depicted in the video. The relative claimed that the man lied about his identity: he is an alcoholic who has run away from home several times.
Security forces of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan are searching for the Kyrgyz citizen.
