AKIPRESS.COM - National freestyle wrestling youth team of Kyrgyzstan took the second place in medal standing of the Asian U17 Wrestling Championships in Jordan.
The championship took place on June 22-25 in Amman.
10 sets of medals were competed among the athletes on June 24-25 and 10 sportsmen from Kyrgyzstan participated. They were able to win 6 medals, including 3 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze.
In overall standings, Kyrgyzstan scored 156 points and took the 2nd place among 16 national teams.
