AKIPRESS.COM - Jeti-Oguz resort is getting increasingly popular among amateurs of mountain tourism lately.
According to locals, accommodation of tourists in guest houses starts from 500 soms ($6). On average it costs 2,000 soms ($23) per one person for 1 day with meals included.
The prices depend on conditions created for tourists and meals.
Recently, yurts started appearing for accommodation of vacationers. For many residents of Jeti-Oguz, reception of guests is the main source of income.
The reception starts from mid-May when people come here for kymyz (mare's milk) treatment.
As reported in January 2024, the Jeti-Oguz resort was transferred to the jurisdiction of the Presidential Affairs Department. Previously, it was taken care by the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan.
In 2023, President Sadyr Japarov ordered its transfer under the Presidential Affairs Department to carry out modernization.
