Armenia economic activity index up 11.2% in 5 months

The economic activity index of Armenia increased by 11.2 percent in January-May 2024 compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the Ministry of Finance.
The main respective increase was provided by these sectors: industry increased by 22 percent, services—by 3.7 percent, trade—by 24.6 percent, construction—by 14.9 percent, exports—by 2.5 times, and imports—by 99.6 percent.
