A report was received Monday from the Sisian city department of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense about the death of Davit Nersisyan, a soldier of a military unit, according to the Investigative Committee Armenia.
While standing in line in the aforesaid military unit at around 9:40am Monday, Nersisyan had experienced a sudden deterioration of health and loss of consciousness. He was rushed to a military hospital, where, however, he was pronounced dead at around 10am.
The Investigative Committee of Armenia has launched criminal proceedings into this incident.
External examination found no traces of violence on his body.
A number of people were questioned.
A forensic medical examination of the body has been ordered to find out the causes of death,
