The French ambassador to Armenia, Olivier Decottignies, visited Syunik Province.
In Sisian city, the diplomat discussed with the representative of the Armenian Fund of France the restoration of the Spandarian Canal, which is being studied with the support of the UN World Food Program. In the first phase, more than 600 land users will benefit from this project on 1,400 hectares of irrigated land.
Also, Decottignies, visited Goris city’s Saint Hripsime Church, which was restored in 2014 by French and Armenian volunteers.
