AFP: Saudi Arabia Hajj death toll exceeds 1,000

The number of pilgrims who died during Hajj in Saudi Arabia has exceeded a thousand, reports AFP.
Earlier, this news agency had reported the death of 600 pilgrims.
In most cases, the cause is extreme heat.
The air temperature in Mecca during Hajj this year has reached about 52 degrees Celsius.
