Minister: In 2023 Armenia was 4th in world in economic growth rate, now we have higher rate

The Armenian government has implemented projects worth tens of billions of drams for the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Armenians. And today, the government adopted a decision whereby Artsakh Armenians to have an opportunity in Armenia. Economy minister Gevorg Papoyan stated this during a press conference Friday—and recapping his 100 days in office in this capacity.
"I can consider that this matter is resolved; it's just a matter of time," Papoyan added.
"From the point of view of business support, we have many programs. As a result of the combination of a level playing field and equal opportunities, perhaps our proposal to our Artsakh businessmen is to take advantage of the existing proposals. If there are business ideas, I am ready to accept [them], discuss what we can do for them," said the minister of economy.
Referring to the economic growth of Armenia, Papoyan said. "The most important indicator characterizing the economic situation of our country is that in 2022 Armenia was the ninth in terms of economic growth rate in the world, in 2023—the fourth, and now we have a higher economic growth rate than in 2023.”
