Deputy premier, new UN coordinator in Armenia exchange views on human capital development

Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the newly appointed United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator in Armenia, Francoise Jacob.
The deputy PM expressed hope that with joint efforts it will be possible to further deepen Armenia-UN cooperation, the government of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
During the meeting, the deputy premier emphasized that the Armenian government makes continuous efforts to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and stressed the role of the UN in ensuring their alignment with the SDGs in the process of developing sectoral strategies.
Also, views were exchanged on the development of human capital, particularly on the reforms being implemented on education, healthcare, and social security policies and the respective challenges.
