The disinformation being spread by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan that Armenia's armed forces opened fire in the direction of Azerbaijani positions aims to create a favorable information field for any possible aggressive action by them if they have such a political decision. Arman Yeghoyan, an MP of the ruling majority Civil Contract Faction and Chair of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, told this to reporters at the NA Thursday.
"Going to such a provocation [by Azerbaijan] amid the peace treaty negotiations is theoretically possible," Yeghoyan added.
