Prime Minister Robert Fico is expected to survive Wednesday’s attempted assassination, his deputy said, APA reports citing BBC.
“The operation went well, and I guess in the end he will survive,” Tomáš Taraba told the BBC. “He’s not in a life-threatening situation at this moment.” Earlier, Slovak Defense Minister Robert Kaliňák said the PM was “fighting for his life.”
