Today, the 10th congress of the Azerbaijan National NGO Forum was held, APA reports.
Fundamental changes were made to the Charter of the Forum at the congress, the post of "president" was abolished, the main authorities were transferred to the Management Board, the term of office of the members of the Management Board was increased from 4 years to 5 years. The old composition was dismissed with full staff, and a new composition was formed at the congress.
For the first time in the past 15 years, the head has been changed at the congress. A Management Board consisting of 5 members was established.
Ramil Iskandarli, the head of the Legal Analysis and Research Public Union, was elected to the post of the Chairman of the Management Board.
Other members of the Management Board were also formed from professional NGO representatives. They are the following persons:
Parvana Valiyeva - executive director of Health Service Public Union
Azer Allahverenov - the chairman of the Eurasian Migration Initiatives Platform Public Union
Khatira Valiyeva - the chairperson of "Khankandi" Public Union for Support of Forced IDPs
Zaur İbrahimli - the chairman of "Prioritet" Social Economic Research Center Public Union.

According to the information, today, changes will be made to the charter at the 10th congress of the Azerbaijan National NGO Forum and the post of "President of Azerbaijan National NGO Forum" will be abolished.
The chairman of the newly to be formed Board will manage the forum. The Forum will have a Board of Directors consisting of 5 people.
