An event was held in the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the birth of National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, the Embassy of Turkmenistan said in this regard, APA's Central Asia bureau reports.
Firstly, Ambassador Gismat Gozalov and guests laid bouquets of flowers in front of the bust of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Embassy.
At the same time, Ambassador of Türkiye to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok spoke at the event.
The event was also attended by the Azerbaijanis living in Turkmenistan, public and media representatives.
