"Candidate Türkiye maintains its determination to be a member of the European Union," it was noted in the post shared by the official X account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, APA reports.
"Congratulations on 9 May Europe Day. Candidate Türkiye maintains its determination to be a member of the EU," - the post says.
Note that on December of 1999, Türkiye received the EU candidate status.
