Russian President Vladimir Putin has suggested Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to discuss security issues in the region behind closed doors, APA's correspondent in Moscow reports.

Putin has noted trade turnover between Russia and Armenia has increased at a record level at the meeting in Kremlin.

Putin has suggested Pashinyan discuss not only an increase in trade turnover but also security issues in the region, but the last one in a closed regime.

Talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan have started, according to Kremlin press service, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

In the protocol part of the meeting, head of Kremlin has noted that bilateral relations between Russia and Armenia successfully develop.
