Italian parliamentarian: We stand by Azerbaijan in efforts to achieve regional peace

The Parliaments of Italy and Azerbaijan prepare new protocol in connection with the renewal of cooperation, Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament Giorgio Mule, who is on a visit to Baku within the framework of the VI Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, told journalists.
He underlined that the relations between the legislative bodies of the two countries were renewed with the visit of the delegation of the Italian Parliament to Azerbaijan.
Giorgio Mule added that this morning the discussions were held in the direction of renewal of the cooperation with the Speaker of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) Sahiba Gafarova.
He emphasized that Italy stands by Azerbaijan in connection with its efforts to achieve regional peace.
