As many as 65% of the population of Azerbaijan uses digital ID, the Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samir Mammadov said at the GSMA M360 Eurasia 2024 international conference held in Baku.

Mammadov noted that the government of Azerbaijan attaches great importance to digitalization: "A development strategy related to digitalization has been prepared in the country. The strategy includes three pillars: digital government, society, and business. Our goal is to expand the scope of digitalization based on this strategy."
