On May 8, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov has met with President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan within the framework of his official visit to the Republic of Türkiye, APA reports.
Ali Asadov has conveyed the greetings of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the head of state of Türkiye.
Prime Minister has submitted the invitation letter of President Ilham Aliyev to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding the attending the COP29 to be held in Azerbaijan in November of this year.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the successful development of brotherly and friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in all fields and perspectives of mutually beneficial cooperation in various directions were discussed.

“Today we will be received by the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan,” said Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan at the press conference held following meeting of Türkiye-Azerbaijan Joint Economic Commission, APA reports.
Prime Minister said that on behalf of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the letter of invitation to COP-29 will be submitted to the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
